Also known as the lazy person's persian, the exotic shorthair was developed to be a short haired version of this popular breed.
They appeal to people who like the personality of the persian but do not want the hassle of having to groom a long haired cat.
Like the persian, they are curious and playful and posess a gentle and calm personality, and are generally friendly towards other cats and dogs. They tend to show more affection and loyalty than most breeds and make excellent lap cats.
Ever since "Taisymai" joined our family we have become totally hooked on this wonderful breed
We are registered breeders of Exotics, and were delighted to be awarded our GCCFI prefix 'Deisekatz' in 2014.
Our breeding cats are tested NEGATIVE for FIV/FeLV and are NEGATIVE for PKD by DNA testing.
We occasionally have kittens available to permanent, loving homes. Please see our 'Kittens' page for more information.
